Sambar Paste for 1 time use
Method
Step 1: Heat 1 tbsp of oil and roast all the ingredients except asefoetida and coconut.Step 2: Remove from fire and allow to room temperature.
Step 3: Place all these in the mixe with (asafoetida and fresh grated coconut) and grind into a coarse paste, adding by little water from time.
Step 4: This quantity is enough to prepare sambar with 1 1/4 cubs of dhal.
