Almond Seera

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cup almonds
  • 3 Cups hot milk
  • 250 gms Ghee
  • 1/2 Cup sugar

    Method

    Step 1: Soak the almonds overnight.
    Step 2: Peel off the almonds and wash.
    Step 3: Grind to make fine paste.
    Step 4: Fry the paste in ghee. First fry it on a high flame then on slow flame.
    Step 5: The paste should become light brown.
    Step 6: Gradually pour warm milk and stir.
    Step 7: When the mixture becomes thick, add sugar and cook again.
    Step 8: Keep stirring till ghee gets separated.
    Step 9: Garnish it with chopped nuts.
    Step 10: Almond Seera is ready to serve.
