American Chopsuey – Crispy Noodle with Sauteed Vegetables
Method
Step 1:Heat oil in a wok or karahi on medium heat.Step 2:Carefully, add stir fry vegetables, onions, garlic and ginger. Sautee until the vegetables are tender.
Step 3:Lower the heat, add soy sauce, ketchup, sugar and water. Bring to boil.
Step 4:Add corn starch water by continuously stirring. Heat it until sauce starts to thicken.
Step 5:Pour hot vegetables over the noodles just before serving it hot.

American Chopsuey is basically a stir fry vegetables sauteed in sauce served over crispy noodles.There is no specific reason why it is called American Chopsuey, but it is a common recipe on the Chinese restaurants in India.
