Amrutha Phala

A festive and delicious combination of Rice, Coconut and Jaggery.

  • Method

    Step 1: Soak rice for 1 hour. Grate coconut. Grind rice and coconut to a fine paste. Take a thick bottomed vessel and pour the mixture and fry for a few minutes.
    Step 2: Add cardamom powder. Add powdered jaggery and keep on frying till the mixture leaves the edges of the vessel.
    Step 3: Keep a steel plate and spread little ghee and pour the cooked mixture and let cool.
    Step 4: Cut them into desired shape and serve.

    Ingredients

  • Coconut (grated) - 4 katori
  • Jaggery (powder) - 1 and 1/2 katori
  • Rice (Rinsed) - 1/2 katori
  • Cardamom - 1 tsp.
