Calming Cumin Chutney
A traditional choice for nursing mothers and those with weak livers or indigestion.
Preparation time: 30 minutes

Step 2: Fry jeera separately.
Step 3: Mix all the other ingredients and grind into fine chutney (sprinkle little water).
Step 4: It is always better to make it into dry powder and store it.
Bengal gram daal - 1 tbsp
Urad daal - 1 tbsp
Green gram daal - 1/2 tbsp
Jeera - 2 tbsp
Red chillies - 5 - to 6
Pepper corns - a few
Dry copra - 3 tbsp
Tamarind - optional
Salt to taste
Method
Step 1: Fry bengal gram daal, urad daal, and green gram daal till golden brown.Step 2: Fry jeera separately.
Step 3: Mix all the other ingredients and grind into fine chutney (sprinkle little water).
Step 4: It is always better to make it into dry powder and store it.
