Cauliflower Gravy

Method

Step 1: Cut Cauliflower into small and boil in salted water for 2 minutes. Drain it.
Step 2: Heat oil in a pan fry the cauliflower till light colour.
Step 3: Heat oil and fry onion till soft and add the ground paste
Step 4: Fry well and then add tomato puree, add cauliflowers Pour enough water and cook till the gravy becomes thick.
Step 5: Add salt and sugar keep simmer 1 minute till the cauliflower is tender.
Step 6: Garnish with coriander leaves.
Step 7: Blanch in hot water, peel the skin and make a fine paste.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 1 small
  • Onion - 1 (chop thin pieces)
  • Tomatoes - 4
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Grind together

  • Garlic - 4 flakes
  • Poppy seeds - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Red chillies - 4
  • Ginger - 1 small piece
