Cauliflower Side dish
This dish cooks in minutes and needs no extra preparation time. Try it when guests drop in unexpectedly, with plain rice and ghee.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes

Step 2: Now add both the vegetables, salt and halved pepper corns with turmeric powder.
Step 3: Sprinkle little water and close the kadai with a lid. Let it cook for five minutes or till the water is absorbed.
Step 4: Serve with hot, plain rice and ghee.
Cauliflower (florets) - 2 katoris
Potato (cubed) - 1 katori
Pepper corns - 6 to 7
Red chillies - 3 to 4
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Turmeric - a pinch
Salt to taste
Oil for seasoning
Method
Step 1: Cut cauliflower into small florets. Cut potatoes into small cubes. Take a thick bottomed kadai, heat oil season the mustard seeds and red chillies.Step 2: Now add both the vegetables, salt and halved pepper corns with turmeric powder.
Step 3: Sprinkle little water and close the kadai with a lid. Let it cook for five minutes or till the water is absorbed.
Step 4: Serve with hot, plain rice and ghee.
