Channa Dhalpulao
Method
Step 1: Heat oil in a pressure pan, pepper, cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon, cumin seeds and green chillies, stir fry for a minute.Step 2: Add bengal gram, stir fry for about 2 minutes.
Step 3: Add rice stir fry again till rice turns opaque. Add salt 4 1/2 cups of fresh water.
Step 4: Close cooker, bring to full pressure or until 2 whistles.
Step 5: Fluff up the rice gently with fork to separate grains.
Step 6: Serve hot with kurma or sag. Garnish with coriander leaves.
