Chocolate Almond Crunch

This sweet required no cooking and can be made in a jiffy.

  • Serves: 10
  • Method

    Step 1: Powder / break cashew nut and biscuits into small pieces. Soften the butter in a vessel. Mix all the ingredients, the cashew and biscuit mixture by hand so that the mixture will be even without any lumps.
    Step 2: Then spread the mixture on a thick bottomed plate or tray and keep it in the refrigerator for three hours.
    Step 3: Cut it according to desired shape before serving.
    Step 4: Serve the crunch with chocolate sauce (optional).

    For the Chocolate Sauce

    Step 1: Mix little butter, cocoa powder and chocolate bar and melt it on the slow fire or a double boiler (to thicken, corn flour or maida can be added. )

    Ingredients

  • Cashew Nut (chopped) - 1 katori
  • Almonds (chopped) - 1/2 katori
  • Marie biscuits (crushed) - 4 katoris (appox. 3 packets)
  • Butter - 3 to 4 tbsp (if required more)
  • Cocoa powder - 4 tbsp
  • Sugar syrup - 3 tbsp (just mixed in little cold water)
