Cluster Beans Muddi Palya
Cluster beans is a favourite vegetable and can be served in the form of sambar, Rasam or this new dish.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Step 2: Add cooked Toovar daal, green chillies, grated coconut, coriander leaves and tamarind pulp.
Step 3: Mix well till the daal and beans blend and form into a mass
Step 4: Serve with plain rice and ghee.
Cluster beans (chopped) - 2 katori
Toovar daal (cooked) - 2 tbsp
Green chillies - 6
Grated coconut - 2 to 3 tbsp
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Tamarind pulp - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tbsp
Method
Step 1: Cut the cluster beans into thin pieces. Cook in a kadai with seasoning like mustard, red chilli, turmeric powder and salt.Step 2: Add cooked Toovar daal, green chillies, grated coconut, coriander leaves and tamarind pulp.
Step 3: Mix well till the daal and beans blend and form into a mass
Step 4: Serve with plain rice and ghee.
