Creamy Peas with Dry Fruit

Unlike the previous recipe, this one uses milk and plenty of masalas to spice it up. It serves well as an extra dish at a party.

  • Method

    Step 1: Pour butter in a thick bottomed kadai. Add cashew, raisins chopped tomatoes turmeric powder, green chillies, garam masala chilli powder, dhania powder and fry for few minutes.
    Step 2: Now add boiled potatoes, peas salt and sugar.
    Step 3: When the gravy becomes thick, add creamed milk and close the lid of the kadai and cook on a low fire for 5 minutes.
    Step 4: Decorate it with coriander leaves. Grated cheese can be sprinkled before serving.

    Ingredients

  • Cashews and Raisins - 2 tbsp
  • each peas (shelled) - 3 katoris
  • potato (cubed) - 1 katori
  • Tomato (chopped) - 1/2 katori
  • Butter - 5 tbsp
  • Milk with cream - 1 katori
  • Green chillies - 6 nos
  • Garam masala - 3 tbsp
  • Chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Dhania powder - 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tbsp
