Dall Rotis

  • Method

    Step 1: Soak the daals for about 3 hours. Grind them with chillies salt, and ginger to a fine past.
    Step 2: Mix the grated coconut, coriander and curry leaves.
    Step 3: Take a non stick tava and apply little oil and spread evenly and cook on a low fire till it turns crisp and brown.
    Step 4: serve hot with onion chutney.
    Step 5: For onion chutney, grind onion, fried gram daal, red chillies and salt.

    Ingredients

  • Toovar Daal - 3 katoris
  • Bengal gram daal - 1 katori
  • Chillies - 10 to 12
  • Grated coconut - 2 katoris
  • Ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves - 1/2
  • Bunch, Curry Leaves - a few
  • Oil - for cooking
  • Salt to taste.
