Egg Chappathis

Method

Step 1: Mix salt and sugar to the wheat flour and make chappathi dough with enough water.
Step 2: Knead well and keep aside for few hours.
Step 3: Beat eggs with a teaspoon of water.
Step 4: Mix other ingredients to that.

To make

Step 1: Make a chappathi as thin as possible, put on a hot tawa, turn over when it starts bubbling up.
Step 2: Apply ghee on top and pour little egg mixture on top and spread evenly.
Step 3: Pour little ghee to the sides of the chappathis.
Step 4: Turn over and cook again till the egg mixture sets.
Step 5: Serve hot.
Step 6: (This amount will give 6 medium sized chappathi)

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar - 1/4 tsp
  • Water - enough to mix the dough
  • Eggs - 4
  • Cumin, pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Finely minced onions - 1 tbsp
  • Cut coriander leaves -1 tbsp
  • Cut mint leaves - 1 tbsp
  • Minced green chillies - 2
  • Oil or ghee for frying
