Egg Pan Cake

Method

Step 1: Beat egg, mix with other ingredients and keep aside for half an hour.
Step 2: If the dough is very thick, add little milk to make it to a pouring consistency.
Step 3: Heat a teaspoon of ghee or butter in a pan, pour a ladle full of dough, spread evenly by tilting the pan.
Step 4: When it is cooked, turn over, cook for a minute.
Step 5: Serve hot sprinkled with powdered sugar or with jam spread on top
Step 6: Normal pan cake should be of 1/8 inch thickness and 3
Step 7: inches diameter.

Ingredients

  • Maida - 1 cup
  • Fresh curds - 1 cup (or) milk
  • Butter - 5 tsps
  • Cooking soda - a pinch
  • Eggs - 1 or 2
  • Salt - a pinch
