Egg Porial

Method

Step 1: Peel onions and garlic and chop finely.
Step 2: Boil eggs, remove shells and cut into small pieces.
Step 3: Heat oil season with cinnamon and cloves, fry garlic and then onions.
Step 4: Add ground mixture and fry for one or two minutes.
Step 5: Add cut pieces of egg and mix gently in reduced flame.
Step 6: Cook for few more minutes and remove from fire.

Variation

Step 7: iced cooked vegetables (carrots, potatoes, beans, cauliflower peas) can also be added before adding egg.

Ingredients

  • Small baby onions - 20
  • Garlic - 10 flakes
  • Oil - 1 or 2 tbsps
  • Eggs - 6
  • Cinnamon - 1 inch piece
  • Cloves - 3 or 4
  • Grind together

  • Grated fresh coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Pepper corns - 1 tsp
  • Red chillies - 2
  • Ani seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - as required
