Fresh Fruity Pulao
Method
Step 1: Wash the rice and soak in water for 20 minutes.Step 2: Peel the pomegranate and take out the seeds. Take half of quantity seeds and grind it take out juice.
Step 3: Peel orange and cut segments.
Step 4: Chop dates finely.
Step 5: Heat oil in a pressure pan, put cumin seeds, soaked rice with 3 1/2 cups of fresh water and salt, grounded pomegranate juice, mix well.
Step 6: Bring it to the boil, cook covered on a low flame for 10 minutes or until rice is tender.
Step 7: Finally add all fruits, dates and raisins and stir well keep covered for 5 minutes.
Step 8: Garnish with walnuts and serve.
