Fried Egg

Method

Step 1: Boil eggs and remove shells.
Step 2: Grind the ingredients for masala together with very minimum water.
Step 3: Add finely cut onions, garlic, mint leaves and coriander leaves and mix well.
Step 4: Add 1 or 2 tablespoons of maida to that.
Step 5: Mix well and apply thickly on top of egg and deep fry in hot oil.
Step 6: Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
Step 7: If the eggs are big, coating may not stick while deep frying.
Step 8: Cut eggs vertically into two.
Step 9: Apply ground paste on all sides.
Step 10: Shallow fry with more oil.
Step 11: Add more rice flour or maida if necessary with ground paste.

Ingredients

  • Eggs - 6
  • Onions - 2 or 3
  • Garlic - 5 flakes
  • Mint leaves - 1/2 bunch
  • Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
  • Oil - enough to deep fry
  • Grind together

  • Scrapped coconut - 1 cup
  • Roasted gram - 2 b. sps
  • Poppy seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Green chillies - 4 or 5
  • Garlic - 8 flakes
  • Giner - 1 inch piece
  • Salt - as desired
