Green Pean and Peanuts Masala

Method

Step 1: Boil separately peanuts green and pease. Strain and keep aside.
Step 2: Peel, wash and cut the potato into small cubes.
Step 3: Chop the onion and coriander leaves finely and set aside.
Step 4: Heat oil in a pan fry the potato cubes in to golden colour. Remove from oil and keep aside.
Step 5: In the same oil fry the bay leaves and slited chillies for a few seconds.
Step 6: Add chopped onions and fry till brown. Then add the ground paste and fry stirring it constantly until the oil separates.
Step 7: Now add boiled peas, peanuts, fried potato cubes, chopped coriander leaves and salt.
Step 8: Mix properly and cook for a few minutes on medium fire until the gravy is well blended.
Step 9: Remove from fire, add lemon juice and mix well.
Step 10: Garnish with coriander leaves, tomato slices, garam masala powder.
Step 11: Serve with buttered toast or breakfast.

Ingredients

  • Green peas - 1/4 cup
  • Peanuts - 1 cup
  • Potato - 1 large
  • Onion - 1 big
  • Green Chillies - 2 (Slit)
  • Bay leaves - 2
  • Lemon - 1 for juice
  • Oil - 4 tbsp
  • Slat to taste
  • Coriander leaves - 1 small bunch
  • Grind together

  • Fresh grated coconut - 2 tbsp
  • Dhania - 2 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Poppy seeds - 2 tsp
  • Red Chillies - 4
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/3 tsp
  • Ginger - 1 small piece
  • Garlic - 3 flakes
  • Coriander leaves - 1 little
