Kheer – Payasam
Method
Step 1: Soak the rice for half an hour and then drain it.Step 2: Put milk and the rice on slow fire and stir continuously until the desired consistency is achieved.
Step 3: Add the sugar and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 4: Take it off and add the kewra essence.
Step 5: Decorate with silver foil and the raisins and almonds. Refrigerate it and then serve when desired.
