Kiddie Beans
All beans are high in protein and a must for growing children. This recipe has no spice and will be appreciated by any child.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Step 2: Now add tomato puree, garam masala green chillies, salt sugar lime and curry leaves.
Step 3: Finally, add the cooked beans and boil for 6 minutes.
Step 4: Add curds and creamed milk and boil.
Step 5: Serve hot with rotis or steamed rice.
Double beans - 4 katoris
Onion (chopped) - 3 tbsp
Paste, Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Tomato puree - 1 katori
Garam masala - 2 tbsp
Curry leaves - a few
Salt to taste
Sugar - optional
Lime - 1 full
Green chilli - 4 to 5 whole
Curd - 1/2 cup
Creamed milk - 1/2 cup
Oil - 1 tbsp
Method
Step 1: Boil double beans and keep aside. Make paste of onion, ginger and garlic. Take a thick bottom kadai and heat ghee or oil and fry the paste till the oil separates.Step 2: Now add tomato puree, garam masala green chillies, salt sugar lime and curry leaves.
Step 3: Finally, add the cooked beans and boil for 6 minutes.
Step 4: Add curds and creamed milk and boil.
Step 5: Serve hot with rotis or steamed rice.
