Method

Step 1: Mix salt, cumin seeds, soda - bicarb and grated coconut, I tbsp of oil into the water.
Step 2: Boil water mixture till one boil and add immediately rice flour to the boiling water, cover slightly and continue to keep over fire till 5 minutes and drop out.
Step 3: Now knead immediately with wood stick till well soft dought.
Step 4: Make small balls and roll with help of fingertip, make round ring shape.
Step 5: Repeat with the rest of the knead dought.
Step 6: Heat oil and fry till light colour. Remove from fire.
Step 7: Serve hot with (Roasted gram) chutney.

  • Rice flour - 2 cups
  • Grated fresn coconut - 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Soda bicarb - A pinch
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Oil for deep - frying
  • Salt to taste
  • Water - 1 1/4 cups
