Kodi Vepudu – Boneless Chicken Preparation

Method

Step 1: Heat the oil and add the cinnamon,cardamom, cloves and the onions and fry till they turn brown.
Step 2: Add the ginger, garlic paste, tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder and chilli powder and cook for three minutes.
Step 3: Add the chicken cubes and add water enough for cooking.
Step 4: Cook till the chicken is tender and the water has dried.
Step 5: Add curry leaves, cashews and pepper powder and cook for two minutes and then serve hot.

Ingredients

  • Chicken 1 kg, boneless, cut into - 1-inch cubes.
  • Onion - 500 gms, diced
  • Tomato 200 gms, chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste - 3 teaspoon
  • Peppercorns - 1 teaspoon, crushed
  • Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 3 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon2-inch piece
  • Cardamoms - 5
  • Cloves - 4
  • Oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Cashews 25 gms
  • Salt to taste
