Kofta Pulao

Method

Step 1: Grate cauliflower, mix green chillies, coriander leaves, gram flour and salt and make small balls.
Step 2: Heat oil in a pan, fry the koftas dipped in gram flour till golden colour and keep aside.]
Step 3: Graind onions - tomatoes separately into a paste.
Step 4: Heat oil and roast the onion paste till colour, mix turmeric powder, dhania powder, chillies then roast and put little water. Then add tomato paste stir.
Step 5: When the above mixture is properly roasted, stir salt and koftas.
Step 6: Add 2 cups of water and boil for 10 minutes.
Step 7: Add 3 1/2 cups of water and cook the rice till done.
Step 8: Mix cooked rice with kofta gravy and serve hot.

Ingredients

  • Rice - 2 cups
  • Onions - 2
  • Tomatoes - 3
  • Dhania powder - 2 and 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chillies to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • For Koftas

  • Cauliflower - 1 small
  • Green chillies - 3 (Chop finely)
  • Gram flour - 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves - 1 small bunch (Chop finely)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep - frying
