Ladys Finger Dosa

Method

Step 1: Pick, wash and soak the rice in water for 6 hours.
Step 2: Clean can chop lady's finger into small pieces.
Step 3: Grind soaked rice with chopped lady's finger together into a batter adding a little water from tome to time. Add salt and mix the batter. Leave to ferment 6 hours.
Step 4: Next hours, add soda - bicarb and sour and stir into medium thick batter.
Step 5: Heat tawa and grease it and pour one ladleful batter over it and spread properly put 1 tsp of oil around the dosa edges.
Step 6: Cook till done and serve hot with coconut chutney.

Ingredients

  • Parboiled rice - 2 and 1/2 fups
  • Lady's finger - 300 gms
  • Sour curd - 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - as required
  • Soda - bicarb - A pinch
