Lauki Burfi

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Lauki (grated)
  • 1 litre Milk
  • 1 cup Khoya
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Green color

    Method

    Step 1: Boil the milk in a pan.
    Step 2: Add the grated lauki in boiling milk.
    Step 3: When half of the milk is left, add khoya, sugar and color.
    Step 4: When the froth starts leaving the side of the vessel, transfer it in an pre-greased aluminium tray.
    Step 5: Add cardamom and cut it into pieces after an hour.
    Step 6: Lauki Ki Burfi is ready.
