Maize Roti

Method

Step 1: Add milk, salt, thyme seeds to maize flour and knead with water, Knead till the dough is soft.
Step 2: Now make a small balls and roll it in the shape of a thin round roti with help of a little wheat flour.
Step 3: Cook on a hot tawa on both sides using ghee until pink spots from on thetop.
Step 4: Serve hot with coriander chutney.

Ingredients

  • Maize flour (Jower) - 2 and 1/2 cups
  • Fresh milk (Warm) - 1/2 cup
  • Thyme seeds - 1/2 tsp (Tymol seed)
  • Ghee - for frying
  • Salt to taste
  • Wheat flour for helping
