Marzipan Candy

  • This Marzipan recipe is basically almond paste that
  • can be used with candy, fruits and cakes.
  • Method

    Step 1: In a medium sized bowl mix the ground almonds, sugar.
    Step 2: Make a well in the centre then add the unbeaten egg yolk and rosewater. Mix it well.
    Step 3: knead with fingers to make a consistent dough.
    Step 4: Remove from bowl and place on a dusted board with confectioners sugar and form desired shapes.
    Step 5: Then let is dry for about a day.

    Ingredients

  • 100gms of ground almonds
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 3 tablespoons rosewater or lemon juice
