Milk Sweet Pongal
Method
Step 1: wash the rice and soak in water for 20 minutes.Step 2: Boil milk in pressure pan, add soaked rice, cook till tender.
Step 3: Heat 'tawa', add sugar stir for few minutes until sugar is dissolved. Add cardamoms and cooked rice, Stir for few minutes.
Step 4: Heat ghee in a pan, add cashewnuts, almonds, raisins, fry till colour,
Step 5: Pour into the rice mixture. Add little rose water to the rice and stir gently. Keep simmer in low flame for 1 - 2 minutes than serve hot.
