Mixed Vegetable Sag

Method

Step 1: Diced all the vegetables, add enough water and cook in pressurer cooker. Strain and reserve the water.
Step 2: Heat oil and season with mustard seeds, when crackling ad cumin seeds, little curry leaves.
Step 3: Add ground mixture fry for few minutes. Mix boiled vegetables pour enough water (cooking liquid) and salt.
Step 4: Cook for 10 minutes (or) until the gravy becomes thick.
Step 5: Remove from fire and serve hot with puris. Add optionally lime juice.

Ingredients

  • Carrots - 2
  • Chow chow - 1 small
  • Beans - 100 gms
  • Green peas - 100 gms
  • Potatoes - 2
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Lime - 1
  • Grind to paste

  • Grated fresh coconut - 1 cup
  • Green chillies - 8
  • Roasted gram - 1 tbsp
