Mock Egg urry

Method

Step 1: Boil eggs, remove shells, slit or prick with a fork.
Step 2: Grind the masala to a fine paste.
Step 3: Heat oil, season with aniseed, fry the ground mixture for a few minutes, add boiled egg and fry well.
Step 4: Serve as a side dish with chappathis or ice.
Step 5: Tastes well even with bread sandwhiches.

Ingredients

  • Eggs - 6
  • Butter or oil - 2 Tbsps
  • Ani seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Grand together

  • Cinnamon - 1 inch piece
  • cloves - 2
  • Pepper corns - 4 or 5
  • Aniseed - 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger - 1/1 inch piece
  • Red chillies - 2
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Onions - 2
  • Garlic - 6 or 5 flakes
  • Salt - as required
