Panchmel Chappati

Method

Step 1: Chop methi leaves, spring onion, green chillies and red chillies finely.
Step 2: Peel carrots and grate coarsely, and boil and peel potato grate coarsely.
Step 3: Mix together wheat flour, gram flour, salt, oil or ghee with fresh curd, peanut powder, finely chopped leaves, onions with green chillies and red chillied, grated carrots, potatoes and knead a smooth dough with help of water.
Step 4: Keep it for 15 minutes.
Step 5: Divide into balls, press to flatten and roll our discs with the help of dry flour.
Step 6: Cook on a hot tawa with ghee till they are golden colour on both sides.
Step 7: Serve hot with curd and vegetables salad.

  • Wheat flour - 2 cups
  • Gram flour - 1/4 cup
  • Fresh curd - 1/2 cup
  • Peanuts - 1/2 cup (Coarsely powdered)
  • Methi leaves - 1 cup
  • Carrots - 2
  • Potato - 1
  • Spring onion - 1 cup
  • Green chillies - 4
  • Red chillies - 2
  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee tofrying
  • Salt to taste
