Paneer in Green Curry

Leftover french fries and paneer are transformed into a spicy curry with palak and methi. Since most of the ingredients can be made ready beforehand, this takes very little time.

  • Cooking time: 10 minutes
  • Serve: 4
  • Method

    Step 1: Cut paneer into cubes and fry them in oil till golden brown. Cut potato into long strips and deep fry in the oil into french fries.
    Step 2: Take a kadai and heat little oil, add green and red chillies.
    Step 3: then add chopped palak, methi leaves and fry till the water is absorbed. Add turmeric, Salt dhania and chilli powder and french fries.
    Step 4: Now add the fried paneer. Mix very lightly with an wooden ladle.
    Step 5: Serve hot with rice or rotis.

    Ingredients

  • Paneer - 1 katori
  • Palak - 4 bunches
  • Methi - 2 bunches
  • Potato (sliced) - 1/2 katori
  • Turmeric - a pinch
  • Dhania powder - 1 tbsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Green and red chilli - 4 each,
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - for frying.
