Paneer Spring Onion Masala Curry

Method

Step 1: Grind coconut, cashew nuts, poppy seeds, dhania, red chillies into a paste, adding a little water from time to time.
Step 2: Chop tomatoes and cut spring onions finely
Step 3: Cut paneer into cubes and deep - fry in oil and immerse completely in hot water and keep aside.
Step 4: Heat oil in a pan, add cloves, cardamoms, ginger garlic paste, fry till smells lost.
Step 5: Add chopped tomatoes saute for few minutes.
Step 6: Add ground paste, cumin powder, salt and pour enough water to cook, till the gravy becomes thick.
Step 7: Add fried paneer cubes and spring onions and keep simmer on low flame till onions are soft.
Step 8: Finely garnish with fresh cream and coriander leaves. Serve hot.

  • Paneer - 200 gms
  • Spring onion - 1 bunch
  • Ginger - garlic paste - 2 tsp'
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cardamoms - 2]
  • Poppy seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Cashewnuts - 6
  • Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
  • Red chillies - 4 (Kashmiri red chillies)
  • Dhania - 1 tbsp
  • Tomatoes - 3
  • Fresh cream - 1 tbsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Oil for deep - frying
  • Coriander leaves - small bunch
