Peas in Curd Gravy
This dish has absolutely no onion or garlic and is perfect for festivals or fussy eaters. It has a mild flavour and can be served with any other dishes.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Step 2: Let it become little soft. Now add cashew nut, garam masala, salt and sugar and fry for a few minutes.
Step 3: When gravy is thick, add cooked peas and curds.
Step 4: Boil for a few minutes. Finally add little chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with parothas or plain pulav.
Peas (shelled) - 2 katoris
Tomato (chopped) - 1 katori
Cashew nut pieces - 3 tbsp
Green chillies - 4 or 5
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Curds - 1 katori
Salt to taste
Sugar - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Method
Step 1: Heat 2 tsp oil in a thick bottomed kadai and add chopped tomatoes, slit green chillies and turmeric powder.Step 2: Let it become little soft. Now add cashew nut, garam masala, salt and sugar and fry for a few minutes.
Step 3: When gravy is thick, add cooked peas and curds.
Step 4: Boil for a few minutes. Finally add little chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with parothas or plain pulav.
