Potato Masala Puri

Method

Step 1: Boil, peel potatoes and make into a dough.
Step 2: Chop onion and coriander leaves finely.
Step 3: Using sufficient water and mix, maida cumin seeds, chopped onions, cariander leaves, garam masala powder, dalda, salt and potato dough.
Step 4: Mix the above and make them into small balls.
Step 5: Make puri with them and deep fry in hot oil or dalda.
Step 6: Serve with coconut chutney or tomato kurma.

Ingredients

  • Maida flour - 2 cups
  • Potatoes - 3
  • Onion - 1
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - little
  • Salt to taste
  • Dalda (Vanaspathi) - 50 gms
  • Oil for deep - frying
