Rice Bran Khichadi
Rice Bran is actually Raw rice splitted rawa (Unpaliced)
Step 2: Add the water, salt, pepper powder, cumin powder. Mix the contents well and pressure cook till done. Stir it.
Step 3: Serve hot, preferably with chutney.
Rice bran - 1 cup
Green gram (Splitted) 1/2 cup
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Cashewnuts - 2 tsp
Mustard sees - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 tsp
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Water as required
Method
Step 1: Heat ghee in a two litre pressure cooker. Mastard seeds, cashewnuts fry for minute and continuously saute the rice bran and green gram with the curry leaves.Step 2: Add the water, salt, pepper powder, cumin powder. Mix the contents well and pressure cook till done. Stir it.
Step 3: Serve hot, preferably with chutney.
