Rice Dumplings
Method
Step 1: Wash and soak the rice for at least 3 - 4 hours.Step 2: Then grind it to a coarse paste with thick coconut milk along with little water.
Step 3: Add grated coconut, baking powder and salt. Mix well.
Step 4: Steam this paste in a vessel for 10 - 15 minutes.
Step 5: Remove and immediately shape like idlis.
Step 6: Steam again for 15 - 20 minutes.
Step 7: Serve with any curry or tomato kurma.
