Rice Flour Pattis
Dahi vada is a common Indian snack, which also doubles as side dish at mealtimes. These vadas are prepared without grinding.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 3
Step 2: Knead to a stiff dough with little water. Divide the dough into small balls and make a hole in the centre and deep fry till golden brown.
Step 3: Cool and dip them in salted curd.
Step 4: Serve them plain with curds.
Onions (chopped) - 1 and 1/2 katori
Rice flour - 1 katori
Wheat flour - 1/2 katori
Green chilli - 4 to 5
Ginger - 1/2 tbsp
Garlic - 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Curd - 2 katoris
Oil for frying
Method
Step 1: Grind green chillies, ginger, garlic and salt. Mix with chopped onions. Add both the flours to the above mixture.Step 2: Knead to a stiff dough with little water. Divide the dough into small balls and make a hole in the centre and deep fry till golden brown.
Step 3: Cool and dip them in salted curd.
Step 4: Serve them plain with curds.
