Rice Flour Rotti

Method

Step 1: Chop onions, green chillies, coriander leaves and peel carrots and grate finely.
Step 2: Mix together rice flour and finely chopped onions, green chillies, spring onion, coriander leaves and curry leaves, grated carrots, cumin seeds and salt to taste.
Step 3: Knead to a thick and soft dough.
Step 4: Heat tawa and grease little oil, put handful batter onto a tawa. Spread it with your hand to cover the entire pan. (This rotti should be thicker than a dosa).
Step 5: Pour a little oil around the rotti and evenly the edge and over the rotti.
Step 6: Cook till done on both sides.
Step 7: Serve hot with green peas and peanut masala curry

Ingredients

  • Raw rice flour - 2 cups
  • Carrots - 3
  • Green chillies - 5
  • Grated Coconut - 1 cup
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Onions - 3 medium sized
  • Coriander leaves - little
  • Oil - as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves - little
  • Spring onion - little (chopped)
