Rice Pooris with Chutney
Rice flour Poori are delicious served straight out of the frying pan. The chutney accompanying it is a simple coconut one.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 50 minutes
Serves: 5
Step 2: Make in into little balls and press them into pooris on a plastic sheet or banana leaf and deep fry.
Step 3: This should be consumed when it is hot. If not, it will become little elastic.
Step 4: Serve hot with coconut chutney.
Step 2: When it gets cold, blend them in a mixer and season with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Rice flour - 4 katoris
Maida - 1 and 1/2 katoris
Salt to taste
Asafoetida - a pinch
Oil for trying
Coconut - 1 katori
Bengal gram daal - 2 tbsp
Green chillies - 4 to 5
Red chillies - 4
Coriander leave - 1/2 bunch
Asafoetida - a pinch
Salt to taste
Tamarind pulp - 1 tsp.
Method
Step 1: Mix all the ingredients with little water and make the dough. Dough should be little hard.Step 2: Make in into little balls and press them into pooris on a plastic sheet or banana leaf and deep fry.

Method for Poori
Step 1: Fry all the ingredients till golden brown.Step 2: When it gets cold, blend them in a mixer and season with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
