Rich Carrot Kheer

Carrot Kheer made richer with the addition of cashew and almonds.

  • Cooking time: 10 minutes
  • Serves: 4
  • Method

    Step 1: Boil milk sugar. Steam carrot, cashews and almonds together. Grind them along with little milk into a thin paste.
    Step 2: Mix the paste along with the remaining sweetened milk.
    Step 3: Add powdered cardamom and chilli. Serve cold.

    Ingredients

  • Milk - 1 litre
  • Carrots - 3 nos
  • Cashews - 3 tsp
  • Almonds - 3 tsp
  • Cardamom - 5 to 6
  • Sugar - 1 katori
