Savouri Rice Bhath
Method
Step 1: Heat oil and seasonings with mustard seed, cumin seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida, turmeric powder in a pan until the mustard begin to crackle.Step 2: Transfer to a pan , add the rice with 4 cups of water, cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon, coconut, green chillies and stir on a low flame.
Step 3: Add lemon juice and jaggery and salt. Cook covered until the rice is soft.
Step 4: Stir - properly and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with stuffed brinjal curry.
