Method

Step 1: Mix the milk with the castor sugar. Sive the flour and add ghee. Mix with finertips till the mixture looks like breadcrumbs.
Step 2: Add the sweetened milk and knead into a smoth, pliable dough, using water as required.
Step 3: Allow to rest covered for 20 minutes.
Step 4: Combine the ingredients for the filling with a fork and keep aside.
Step 5: Divide the dough into 8 portions and the roll into balls.
Step 6: Roll out into dices with the help of flour, prick with fork and cook on a hot griddle (tawa) till they are light golden, applying spoonful of ghee on both the sides.
Step 7: Place filling in the centre, roll tightly and put into a serving dish.
Step 8: Sprinkle castor sugar and garnish with nuts and silver foil.
Step 9: Serve with fresh cream.
