Sooji or Rava Dosa

Rava dosa is quick to make and crunchy to eat.

  • Preparation time: 5 minutes
  • Cooking time: 5 minutes
  • Serves: 4
  • Method

    Step 1: Mix all the ingredients and form into a thin or thick batter (required consistency). Season with mustard seeds (chopped onions can be added).
    Step 2: Heat a non stick tava and pour the batter and 1 tsp of oil. Roast till golden brown.
    Step 3: Serve hot with coconut chutney. (for coconut chutney, refer chutney section)

    Ingredients

  • Sooji - 1 katori
  • Rice flour - 1 katori
  • Wheat flour - 1/2 katori
  • Curds - 4 katoris
  • Coconut gratings - 1/2 katori
  • Green chillies - 3 to 4
  • Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion - (optional)
  • Oil for cooking.
