Sooji or Rava Dosa
Rava dosa is quick to make and crunchy to eat.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serves: 4
Step 2: Heat a non stick tava and pour the batter and 1 tsp of oil. Roast till golden brown.
Step 3: Serve hot with coconut chutney. (for coconut chutney, refer chutney section)
Sooji - 1 katori
Rice flour - 1 katori
Wheat flour - 1/2 katori
Curds - 4 katoris
Coconut gratings - 1/2 katori
Green chillies - 3 to 4
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Onion - (optional)
Oil for cooking.
Method
Step 1: Mix all the ingredients and form into a thin or thick batter (required consistency). Season with mustard seeds (chopped onions can be added).Step 2: Heat a non stick tava and pour the batter and 1 tsp of oil. Roast till golden brown.
