Spicy Peas and Cauliflower Curry
Method
Step 1: Wash and cut off the main stalk of the cauliflower and keep in salted hot water for 10 minute.Step 2: Remove and drain it, fry in hot oil or ghee till it is light brown in colour, keep aside.
Step 3: In a pan fry onions till they are golden brown. Add curds and grind it to a fine paste and keep aside.
Step 4: Heat ghee or oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, when it splutters mix ground masala paste and fry for few minutes, add onions curds mixture and peas with the cauliflower.
Step 5: Pour enough water, salt. Cover and cook till gravy becomes thick and peas till tender.
Step 6: Garnish with coriander leaves.
Step 7: Omit cashewnuts, instead use coconut (grated) for ground paste.
