Vegetable in Green Masala

Method

Step 1: Extract 1 cup of milk from coconut using add 1 cup of water and grind it saueeze out thick milk.
Step 2: Dice all vegetables, add enough water and cook in pressure. Cooker
Step 3: Heat oil, add onions and fry till colour. Add ground paste. Stir fry for few minutes until the raw smells is lost.
Step 4: Add boiled vegetables and powdered spices, salt Stir for few minutes. Add enough water
Step 5: Cook for 5 minutes, keep simmer on low heat. Add coconut milk and bring to boil, stirring carefully.
Step 6: Garnish with coriander leaves, stir in lemon juice and serve hot.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 2
  • Green peas - 1/2 cup
  • Carrot - 2
  • Fresh beans - 100 gms
  • Cauliflower - 1 small
  • Onions - 2 (thinly sliced)
  • Fresh coconut - 1 cup (grated)
  • Lime - 1
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Grind to paste: I

  • Ani seeds - 2 tsp
  • Green chillies - 4
  • Coriander leaves - small bunch
  • Fry in oil - II
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cinnamon - small stick
  • Cardamoms - 2
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Dhania - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp (In a pan roast together and grind into a powder)
